Five extremely random and useless bits of trivia about me:

I was born in San Diego, California.
I am a freshman in highschool.
I collect Sims games. My favorite installments are, and always has been, the Pets expansions.
I have extremely elaborate dreams that often leave me with the sense that they mean something about my mental state; I can only come up with vague ideas of what.
For reasons unknown to me even now, when I was a little kid, I often stuck my head underwater and half-heartedly tried to "drown" myself, leaving myself that way until the fright of not being able to breathe pulled my young self back up, or someone else helped me. These were spur-of-the-moment decisions, and I felt alarmingly serious about it. How I used to scare my mother! I was a friendless, strange and confused child back then.

--1. One day, like any other, just in the middle of your normal average life, you wake up and find your entire house empty except for yourself, and the outside has been turned into a barren wasteland.
First of all: deny, deny, deny, WAKE THE HELL UP. Eventually come to terms with the situation, mourn the loss of my cats and family, and try to salvage some new life and story for myself.

--2. You find yourself in a strange institution with a few of your close friends. The purpose is unclear, and there doesn't seem to be anyone else around.
My friends have a tendency to freak out, so I'd make sure they were calm first. We'd explore a little until we found some indication of... something, and try to find a way out.

--3. You are on an airplane, when an unknown event renders both pilots useless, and there is no one else on the plane qualified to fly it.
Isn't there some kind of way to contact the airport? Aren't their people trained to give instructions to people whom can't fly planes in case of such an occasion? I've heard of that before. If there's no way to communicate, well then, I guess we're screwed 'til Superman shows up, or someone at least tries to fly the thing.

--4. You're walking down the street when a blue police box materializes in front of you. Harry Potter jumps out and demands a silver bracelet.

--5. You're at a train station, but you just missed your train. You don't have any money for another ticket or a payphone. Not many people speak English.
I'm not bothering with all these foreigners that most likely don't like Americans very much (bad experiences in Mexico while visiting my mother's relatives, lemme tell you!!). I'd figure something out at some point, perhaps a rare soul that doesn't mind the USA accent will pop up and be nice to me. /shrug

--6. You are in the middle of the shopping mall, when suddenly, a flash mob surrounds you and begins to sing and dance. You realize that you are actually completely familiar with the song and dance they are doing.
This ought'a be fun, too bad I'm no good at video cameras. Where's a simple Kodak?

--7. You're walking home, one day, when you realize that there is a closet door in the middle of the street. Not facing up, but inlaid horizontally into the road. It opens and people start walking out, casually walking off into different directions.
I'd ask them what's going on and how I can get in on their adventure, pleeeease, I'm so bored with my life despite the fact I'm probably being selfish and should be more grateful.

--8. You arrive at school one day, and over the PA system, an announcement is made that you are going to be rehearsing Zombie Drills.

--9. One day, as you're walking down the street, the sky goes dark and ominous music begins to play from seemingly everywhere at once. No one on the streets seems to have any more idea what's going on then you do.
I would, one: freeze up as much as everyone else is, or two: adapt to the situation like a fish to water and scream, "GET IN THE FUCKING SAFEHOUSES YOU FUCKS" which we would do, because apparently a storyline has been applied to our lives, so we're gonna end up finding shelter one way or another, it's part of the stinking plot. Whahaah.
Unless it's the Silent Hill theme. Then, we are all going to die regardless. Oh wells.

--10. Somebody dressed as a stereotypical supervillain begins to monologue in the middle of a public square. A superhero figure comes and they begin to duel. There are scores of police officers and cruisers surrounding the square. The police all seem dead serious.

--1. What is your dream job?
It's not so much a job, but more of a... status. Like JK Rowling, being able to just write and write and drabble and be universally beloved and recognized for it. Get invited to the Colbert Report, Daily Show, Ellen DeGeneres, and generally looked to as a figure of inspiration.
Big dreams, huh?

--2. If you could visit any city, what would it be?
Er. I have no idea. I never know how to answer these questions, there are too many beautiful places out there. So, I'll go with one I've been to before and am familiar with: Coronado Island, San Diego, California. Used to go there all the time, lived pretty close to it actually, did you know its famous hotel is haunted? I'm pretty sure I saw her once (Kate Morgan, suicide by gun), lady made my seat break under me! It was a pretty strong chair and I only weigh 116.6, so what the frak?

--3. What would you do if you a UFO landed on your roof? (XD)

--4. Do you have a favorite constellation? (EX: Mine is Draco X3)
I'm a Cancer, so that constellation gets my attention. Big Dipper, Little Dipper? I can't usually pick out constellations out of the rest of the star clusters, can we just say I like stars? /le shrug

--5. Would you ever consider bungee-jumping? (Yes, my questions are random XD)
If I ever manage to grow the balls.
Perhaps. Is it legitimate bungee-jumping by a good company, or is it accompanied by crappy cords and equipment? Safety safety!

--6. Do you prefer poetry, or prose?
Prose, occasionally poetry. It depends on what I feel like writing/reading, or how good the poem I make ends up being. I've had poems completely morph into rather long-winded short stories on my watch, before.

--7. If you could have any one of Danny's powers, what would it be?
Flying is cool, but being able to disappear at will? Go anywhere? Intangibility/invisibility, please!

--8. What other language would you like to speak?
My mother's side of the family is native Mexican (with a splash of actual Spaniard), so Spanish would probably benefit me by a whole lot. Danny Phantom got me interested in Esperanto, though...

--9. What's your favorite musical artist?
Disturbed, for personal reasons (their lyrics really hit a chord with me, and David Draiman's voice is unforgettable), other bands are Nightwish, Breaking Benjamin, Queen, among others...

--10. Who's you favorite author?
JRR Tolkien, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Charlaine Harris, William Shakespeare,  Anne Rice, Erin Hunter, blarblarblar I could go on forever here you guys. Let's just say I appreciate many writers.

Whew, that's hard to say! Um... I'm really awed by =Krossan and her comic, Legendary Destinations I nearly hit the ceiling with how high I jump every time she updates a new page (with Dan in it, I lose my mind for Mr. Firehair, especially with how she draws him). I also quite like =JeluiGarak
Fanfiction author? There are a lot of notable fanfictioneers. Cordria, HiddenAuthor, Darth Frodo, AnneriaWings, and YES even you, sapphireswimming!! And these are just for DP...

--4. If you were suddenly turned into a character in a book, movie, or TV show, who would it be? Not who would you want to be, but who are you most like? Edit: added because I'm curious now: (I know this is extra but I don't care) Who's your famous celebrity look-alike?
Hmm... that's... actually really hard. Who am I like? I suppose Sylar from Heroes, without the serial-killer tendencies of course. I'm like him in the sense that I know I'm more than I drudge around and act like day after day, and I'd do almost anything to achieve it, to be "special" (although poor Gabriel/Sylar is more dangerously obsessive about it than me by far).
I also kind of look like Sylar (actor: Zachary Quinto), except with the obvious gender difference. We've both got dark hair, dark eyes (though his are a brighter brown than mine, and prettier to look at), and then there's the GIGANTIC bushy eyebrows we both share... also big noses. Pffthuh.

--5. What is your catchprase? (or motto if you're lame and don't have a catchphrase…)
"QUACK."
I don't know either.
It's just something I say aloud when I can't think of anything.

You should see some of its fanfiction, too, the longer stories are pretty well-written.

...Okay, Sapphire. You've done it. You've completely thrown my thought process for a loop. I almost thought that would be impossible by now. *flail* Uh... bagpipes can be pretty cool if they're used well by skilled peeps. Yeah.

THE LACK OF ANGST—erm I mean. Well, actually, the lack of conflict between Danny and his parents. So, it is angst, I guess. I wish there were more moments in Phantom Planet depicting Jack and Maddie's awe at the fact that their son has turned out to be so powerful and responsible, and they never even noticed, that he's been growing up without them, and so well! I'd rather like to see their reaction to a Ghostly Wail.
